Whole Health: Your Body and Your Life
What is “whole health”?
Whole-health practitioners seek to bring your functions and systems into balance: your body, your mind and your spirit.
You recover and heal faster and stay healthier when you start with a solid foundation: good food, clean air and water, appropriate physical activity, and enough rest. Eating, moving and hydrating may come more easily than resting and sleeping; your body needs the downtime to repair, regenerate and be strong.
How you sleep lays a foundation for your energy, strength and resilience. Without enough sleep, we are vulnerable to a wide range of health issues. If it’s pain, stress, or what you eat that’s keeping you awake, we can help.
What you eat directly affects how you feel. However you choose your food, we can help you to capture the nutritional value.
What you do – physically – can determine how you feel. Physical activity improves your circulation, your outlook and your sleep. Better circulation delivers more nutrients and healing factors to your cells, balancing and maintaining your body’s systems and giving you more energy. Regular physical activity helps prevent injuries and just helps you feel better.
Whole health means these foundational elements are in place, and that your systems (digestive, neurotransmitter, hormonal) are in balance. We are here to help you reach and maintain that balance.
No matter how much it gets abused, the body can restore balance. The first rule is to stop interfering with nature.
